21-Day Journal for Children (Pink Edition)

You can read about how I came up with this journal and my faith journey with it in this post: “Journal into the Heart and Mind“. I truly believe this journal can help your child navigate her emotions a little better and even spark conversations with you about her inner being.

Description

This 21-Day Journal into the Heart and Mind is recommended for children aged 6 to 9 years old, but younger and older children might enjoy writing in it too! In this journal, there are prompts to guide the reflection process through 21 days.

Why 21 days? There’s a popular idea that habits are formed in 21 days, and biblically, Daniel fasted for 21 days (Daniel 10). The journal is divided into three sections or weeks, with each section comprising seven days of reflection prompts, a list of Bible verses,andpractical methods for processing an emotion.

  • Week 1: Sad
  • Week 2: Angry
  • Week 3: Anxious / Fear

Journalling helps children practise reflection, process their thoughts and emotions, and improve their writing. It also enables them to know themselves better! More importantly, practise thankfulness and read what the Bible says about our feelings and thoughts.

The journal is lightweight and easy to carry, even if packed into the luggage for trips. May this life journal become a beautiful future keepsakefor your children to look back on and relive those moments or see how much they have grown!

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.

Blessings in a Bottle

Story

I used to run a juice business and was left with a large inventory of plastic bottles after I closed it down. I didn’t want to throw the bottles away partly because of environmental reasons and somehow, I was secretly hoping God would restore the failed venture.

When I was finally left with no choice but to throw the bottles, God planted this idea to use the bottles to contain messages of blessings. It felt like a restoration – restoring the years the locusts had eaten while blessing others in the meantime. Beauty out of ashes.

Description

Inside each bottle are seven thoughtfully curated messages with bible verses, including a prayer prayerfully written for the person who is going to receive it. Opening the bottle, the recipient takes out one message per day – to ponder, meditate, write, and receive the blessings.

You can also choose a bottle that comes with a particular theme: sadness/grief, anger and fear/anxiety.

You number my wanderings;
Put my tears into Your bottle;
Are they not in Your book?

Psalm 56:8 (NKJV)

Pocket-Sized Card: Gospel Story

I printed these pocket-sized cards to share the Gospel with non-believers. It can also be for believers who want a Bible verse card to carry along.

Description

On one side of the card are the bible verses from John 3:16-17. On the flip side, it’s the story of how Adam and Eve fell but God has a wonderful plan through Jesus.

Use the card as a bookmark, a constant reminder put in walletor pencil cases, and/or a gift card to bless people you want to reach out to. Share the good news!

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
